Teyana Taylor brought a square-toe edge to her full Chanel ensemble at the Chanel Tribeca Festival Artists Dinner on Monday in New York City with a pair of slingback pumps.

To go with her Chanel fall 2026 look, Taylor showcased a signature look of the French fashion house: a cap-toe pump. She wore a shoe design by Matthieu Blazy which came down the fall 2026 runway as well, featuring twists on the cap toe and traditional slingback silhouette. The square toe deviated from the quintessential round toe the Chanel cap-toe slingback is associated with, while the strap design played with cutouts and doubled around the ankle. The silhouette also featured a subtly flared block heel and low, rounded vamp. The two-toned colorway which defines the cap toe was, in this case, patent burgundy and white.

Taylor’s look otherwise showcased another core detail of the brand, tweed. She wore a layered look including a pink tweed collared jacket over a light blue and burgundy layer and a sheer lacy pink top; her sheer knee-length skirt was blue and burgundy as well. She completed the look with two more Chanel items, a burgundy clutch and white cat-eye sunglasses.

Taylor previously wore a different two-toned Matthieu Blazy Chanel pump, a style from spring 2026, to the brand’s Métiers d’Art show in December. She also attended the fall 2026 show in March and wore Chanel to this year’s Oscars, among other events. Getting in on the partnership between Chanel and Tribeca Festival, Taylor is a new Through Her Lens advisory committee member and participated in a panel conversation on Sunday as part of as part of Tribeca’s Storytellers Series — she had her burgundy cap-toe slingbacks on for that engagement as well.
