Rihanna is known to go against the current when it comes to style. The singer made an appearance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final on Sunday at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey wearing a pair of relaxed shorts, a soccer jersey paired with suede knee-high boots.
While other stars in attendance stuck to trending footwear like low-profile sneakers and thong sandals, the Fenty Beauty founder had other plans. Instead of wearing other traditional summer footwear like sandals or white sneakers, she opted for suede boots in a sandy color, which featured a slightly slouchy fit. The tall boot shaft landed right under her knees, creating just a slim opening between the hem of her bottoms and the boot collar. The shoes featured a pointed toe and a slightly flared heel measuring around five inches.
She stayed neutral with her sports gear, opting for the Vetements Trademark Football Jersey in chocolate brown. She paired the oversized top with bottoms by Aflalo, the luxury sportswear collection founded by Yael Aflalo. She opted for the Bromer Short in a bronze shade from the brand’s high summer 2026 collection.

The capri-adjacent shorts were cut in midweight washed viscose with a textured handfeel and luminous sheen, and are finished with side cargo pockets and dual back pockets. The shorts retail for $700.
To complete the look, the “We Found Love” singer carried the Ferragamo Cara bag. The black bag is crafted from eel leather, which features a distinctive accordion construction. The bag is finished with gold hardware and the brand’s Gancini closure, which has become a signature detail in the brand’s designs.
