Queen Camilla closed out the 2026 Royal Ascot on Saturday with a second, shorter shoe streak, returning to Eliot Zed’s sand suede pumps after spending the meeting’s first three days in Chanel.

For Day 5 at Ascot Racecourse, the royal wore the same Eliot Zed pumps from the day before. The sand suede style featured a closed toe, low-cut sides and a streamlined almond-shaped front with a subtly squared finish. A stitched seam ran down the center of the toe box, while the bespoke Honey heel color introduced a warm wood tone and a practical, understated lift. A narrow brown outsole edge added one darker line beneath the otherwise pale suede.

The royal paired the pumps with cobalt Fiona Clare couture. Her mid-length dress had three-quarter sleeves, a gently flared skirt and dense tonal trim framing the V-neckline before running in vertical bands down the bodice. She stayed with the saturated blue for her wide-brim Philip Treacy hat, which was wrapped in sweeping bands of fabric, then picked up the shoes’ softer palette with a Small Lady Dior in two-tone Biscuit and Trench Beige Cannage lambskin.

Queen Camilla added Van Cleef & Arpels bracelets in agate and carnelian and pinned Queen Victoria’s sapphire-and-diamond wedding brooch near her left shoulder.

The final two days marked a subtle shift after Queen Camilla wore the same beige-and-black Chanel cap-toe pumps from Tuesday through Thursday. She kept the low heel, closed toe and neutral suede, but left behind the Chanel pair’s sharp black contrast. That meant just two pairs of shoes across five days, both with the practical proportions that have long defined her formal wardrobe.

Queen Camilla made a similar designer switch at Royal Ascot in 2025, when she traded her opening-day Chanel shoes for taupe Eliot Zed pumps with glossy tonal cap toes on Day 2. That pair had a softly rounded front and sculpted kitten heel, while Saturday’s shoes were cleaner and slightly more elongated. In both cases, she returned to suede, modest height and minimal color contrast, all useful choices for hours spent walking and standing on the racecourse lawn without defaulting to a flat.

Almeraq, ridden by Tom Marquand, defeated Japan’s Satono Reve by a nose in the Group 1 sprint. Ryan Moore finished the five-day meeting as leading jockey with seven wins, while Aidan O’Brien claimed the leading trainer title for the 14th time.
