THE WHAT? L’Oréal has appointed Manashi Guha as Country Manager for Malaysia and Singapore, as the beauty group strengthens leadership across two strategically important Southeast Asian markets.
THE DETAILS Based in Kuala Lumpur, Guha will oversee L’Oréal’s operations across Malaysia and Singapore, succeeding Tomas Hruska, who becomes General Manager of L’Oréal Poland and Baltics. Guha has spent 18 years with L’Oréal, holding senior positions across India, Malaysia, Indonesia, SAPMENA and the UK and Ireland, where she most recently served as Chief Growth Officer. Her experience includes leading consumer products, omnichannel growth, social commerce and transformation initiatives, and she will now focus on creating greater synergies between the Malaysian and Singaporean businesses while developing the group’s use of AI.
THE WHY? The appointment brings extensive regional, digital and consumer products experience back to Southeast Asia, as L’Oréal looks to combine Malaysia’s market scale with Singapore’s position as an innovation and business hub to accelerate growth and technology-led transformation.
