Libertine is headed to Aspen with an exclusive residency at The Little Nell, next month.
Timed to coincide with Aspen Art Week, the residency will offer an exclusive, elevated shopping experience for visitors, collectors, hotel guests and fashion followers visiting the city during one of the summer’s most popular cultural events.
The residency at The Little Nell, Aspen’s only five-star, five-diamond ski-in-ski hotel, will run from July 29 to Aug. 4. The property’s boutique will offer the Libertine spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection along with a special curated assortment for Aspen Art Week. That will include vintage French military jackets, one-of-a-kind exclusive pieces made especially for the occasion, and the brand’s signature mix of colorful prints, intricate embroidery and collectible separates.
Johnson Hartig, creative director and chief executive officer of the Los Angeles-based Libertine, said The Little Nell “is the premiere destination in Aspen, and aligns beautifully with our clientele that don’t have their own Aspen place during the art fair. We’ve always had a very strong base of incredible loyal friends and clients in Aspen, and while this union solidifies it further, it also introduces the brand experience to new Libertine lovers.”
This is not Libertine’s only residency. The brand has also popped up in Sag Harbor, N.Y., and Palm Beach, Fla., and it has a permanent space on New York’s Upper East Side.
Libertine was launched in 2001 and has built its luxury brand on elaborate women’s and men’s pieces created with elaborate embroidery, whimsical silk-screened graphics, crystals and other embellishments.
