Le Bon Marché And Tagwalk Founder Alexandra Van Houtte Return for Second Capsule

FALL FOLLOW-UP: Alexandra Van Houtte still isn’t saying “no” to Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche.

Tagwalk’s founder and the upscale Parisian department store are back with a second chapter to their collaboration, this time a fall capsule under the Maison Rive Gauche private label.

For Isabelle Fine, director of women’s fashion at Le Bon Marché, it “felt natural to prolong the collaboration” with a fall offering, following the success of its inaugural spring-summer chapter. “It allowed us to go even further in a common vision of a smart, evolutive wardrobe deeply rooted in everyday reality,” she continued. “It’s fashion that adapts to our lives, not the other way around.”

Landing in late July, the 20-piece range spans from chic staples for cooler and even inclement weather to more festive options for the end-of-year holidays, with styles including a high-neck plaid raincoat with a double-ended full-length zipper; silk satin tops with cowl necks; relaxed charcoal gray tailored long blazer and matching trousers, and a wool coat with that colorful plaid as a lining, visible when you turn up the sleeves.

Plumetis was also used extensively, with two tops, trousers and a midi-length dress in the material.

Van Houtte picked the sophisticated palette chosen for the season, which includes a luminous juicy red and the striking plaid combination, by Tagwalk’s trend prediction tool. She called it her “daily color chart” and a tool that helps one “know where to land” when filtered by the lens of what buyers and stylists are tagging.

“I didn’t want a shouty palette,” she added. “Tagwalk data shows that when pieces are meant to live in a wardrobe, women gravitate to refined tones” that let cuts and fabrics do the talking.

Past her surprise at being chosen for their initial collaboration, the Tagwalk founder also “wanted a second chapter because the first one proved there was a real need,” she told WWD. “Women in bigger sizes could finally walk into Le Bon Marché, find simple, beautiful clothes in great materials, and wear them with New Balance by day and heels by night — and it just works.”

Just like the summer capsule, sizes go from a French 34 to 50, or U.S. size 2 to 18. Some pieces come semi-finished, tailored to fit upon purchase.

Such collaborations are “a major strategic axis” for the French department store, said Fine. With a goal of two partnerships a year, Le Bon Marché “aims to associate its brand with “creative [profiles] who are committed to know-how and craftsmanship,” she continued. “We favor those who embody this synergy between creation, fashion and influence to create a sincere connection with our clientele.”

Most recently, Le Bon Marché collaborated with artist Tatiana de Nicolay for spring 2026.

Fine described Van Houtte as someone who “embodies a vision of fashion that’s at once desirable, concrete and contemporary” and had helped the retailer “develop a capsule that bridges stylistic excellence, inclusivity and thoughtful attention to materials.”

Fabrics have been sourced through Nona Source, which is also owned by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton and specializes in luxury deadstock fabrics, surplus fabric and leather.

Prices will start at 90 euros for a hood and other accessories in the capsule and go up to 450 euros for the charcoal wool coat. Silk tops and trousers sit at 120 euros and 185 euros respectively.
