Lady Eliza & Lady Amelia Spencer’s Royal Ascot Shoes: Holland Cooper Heels

Princess Diana’s nieces Lady Eliza Spencer and Lady Amelia Spencer arrived at Royal Ascot‘s third day in matching pale pink looks, with their shoes doing the most precise styling work.

Both sisters wore the Vienna Pearl Heel from Holland Cooper, a stiletto with a pointed toe, a front panel that runs from the toe up to the base of the bridge, and a thin strap set with pearl detailing across the top of the foot. The design favors structure over embellishment: the panel covers the toe fully, giving the shoe a sleeker, more covered look than a typical strappy sandal.

The twins styled the heels with near-identical Holland Cooper pieces in soft pink. Lady Eliza wore a sleeveless, fit-and-flare midi dress with a wide-brimmed ivory hat trimmed in black, while Lady Amelia chose a flowing, cape-sleeved gown with a structured pink pillbox hat. Both carried small ivory clutches, keeping the accessories tonal and the heels as the only metallic-adjacent detail in either outfit.

A closer look at their Vienna Pearl heels.

Pearl accents on footwear have held steady as a recurring favorite for occasion dressing, often described as “pearlcore,” showing up not just on straps but across vamps, heels, and even sneakers. Where past iterations leaned toward fuller, more bridal-coded pearl coverage, the Vienna Pearl Heel takes a smaller, more restrained approach, limiting the pearls to a single strap rather than scattering them across the shoe. That makes the style easier to read as daytime-appropriate, fitting for a setting like Ascot’s Royal Enclosure where dress codes still call for some formality without veering into bridal territory.

Royal Ascot dates back to 1711, when it was founded by Queen Anne at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire, England. The meeting became a dedicated week of royal racing in 1911 and has since grown into one of the most prominent fixtures on the British social calendar, drawing royals, celebrities, and racing fans worldwide. Each day opens with the Royal Procession up the Straight Mile by horse-drawn carriage. The Royal Enclosure enforces a strict dress code, making the five-day meeting as much a fashion event as a sporting one.
