THE WHAT? JD.com has launched the official CHANEL Fragrance & Beauty flagship store in China, expanding its premium beauty and luxury portfolio.
THE DETAILS The new flagship store gives Chinese consumers access to CHANEL’s fragrance, makeup and skincare products through JD.com’s luxury shopping platform. To mark the launch, CHANEL introduced exclusive products for JD.com shoppers, including the LES BEIGES Healthy Glow Summer Essentials and HYDRA BEAUTY Micro Sérum Lèvres, targeting China’s premium gifting market. The partnership strengthens JD Beauty’s position in the imported luxury beauty segment, supported by growing demand for international prestige brands as well as JD.com’s logistics infrastructure, authenticity guarantees and customer service capabilities. Both companies also plan to deepen the partnership with additional product launches, limited editions and exclusive collections for Chinese consumers.
THE WHY? The collaboration supports JD.com’s strategy to strengthen its presence in China’s growing high-end beauty market while helping CHANEL expand its digital luxury retail reach in the country.
