Ja Morant Nike Air Force 1 Triple White Pearl Release Date IR8492-100

This year alone, the classic triple-white Nike Air Force 1 has been released in numerous variations including patent leather, star-adorned looks and even a remastered version which references the sneaker’s 2001 construction. And yet, despite the flood of options, there’s even more to come, including a new addition to Ja Morant’s ever-expanding cache of Air Force 1 styles.

Set to be released Tuesday is the latest Ja Morant x Nike Air Force 1. From a distance, the White/Metallic Silver/Cobalt color combination may appear to be a standard triple-white Air Force 1, but a closer look reveals a shiny pearlescent finish atop the leather upper. It’s a change that’s subtle but effective, and one that will likely appeal to those who already have plenty of white Air Force 1s in the closet.

To further change things up from a typical white Air Force 1, Morant’s pearly pair includes thick rope shoelaces instead of the standard flat cotton look. At the back, the NBA star’s “12:AM” branding replaces the shoe’s usual Nike Air stitching, while the heel also includes a debossed Ja logo.

Thus far, a total of four Morant-branded Air Force 1s have been released beginning with November’s Sundial yellow “Let Me Be Ja” style. That was followed in January with a black-and-gum “NY vs. NY” makeup and a Swarovski-encrusted colorway for NBA All-Star Weekend. Most recently, in April, Nike issued a denim-draped version of the sneaker with Morant’s branding.

Aside from his Air Force 1 collaborations, Morant’s signature line will soon add another entry with the Ja 4’s debut on Aug. 13. And later, the Ja 4 is expected to introduce a high-top variation during the holiday season.

The Ja Morant x Nike Air Force 1 Triple White Pearl will be released Tuesday from Nike’s Snkrs app at 10 a.m. ET with further availability from select Nike Sportswear retailers. The pair is priced at $150 and its style code is IR8492-100.
