Last week, Bella Hadid was busy serving supermodel style on the red carpet at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival (where she wore everything from custom Schiaparelli to stellar vintage pieces). But now, she’s clearly ready for a little R&R.
Just one day after the festival officially wrapped, Hadid was spotted getting into full-on vacation mode in St. Tropez, France, earlier today. Hadid hopped aboard a luxury yacht (as one does) just off the coast, surrounding herself with friends as they soaked up some sun along the sea. But make no mistake—her off-duty fashion was just as chic as her film festival wardrobe. In fact, the model’s vacation style continues her winning archival streak: She plucked a stellar piece from Prada’s spring 2001 collection, originally worn by fellow super Gisele Bündchen on the early-aughts catwalk.
Hadid wore one of the collection’s red and white striped knee-length skirts, refashioning it as a mini tube dress. She struck a cheeky pose on the yacht while wearing it: Because is getting the perfect Instagram shot not a crucial part of vacationing? If the piece looks rather familiar, that could be because it also once made a cameo on Sex and the City’s Carrie Bradshaw. In season four, Carrie wears the very same skirt, pairing it with a black long-sleeved crop top and a Gucci belt bag.
The throwback Prada skirt is just one of many archival items that Bella Hadid and stylist Mimi Cuttrell pulled for their France trip: The model also wore vintage pieces from Elie Saab, Louis Vuitton (Marc Jacobs era!), and Prada Sport this past week. Clearly, Hadid is on a big Prada kick: On the Cannes carpet last week, Hadid also wore brand-new Prada, via a custom Old Hollywood-style white gown with a matching shawl.
