This week in celebrity beauty saw color come back in a big way. Summer sorbets were definitely part of the look du-jour among a-listers, but there were also flashes of fun highlights and statement, expertly define lips. Blush is on the warm and sunburned side, too. On tour, Katy Perry embraced the “California Gurls”-era pastels and pigtails. Alysa Liu, who scooped an award at this week’s ESPYs, pulled her now-signature striped hair into an elegant yet edgy up-do. For Danielle Deadwyle, attending the Balenciaga couture show, it was all about an expert swipe of blue under the eye, while pop star Sienna Spiro opted for an all-over azure with ’60s-esque lashes.
Elsewhere, we had some vacation nail inspo (in all shades of ice-cream), while Beyoncé made her return to the stage in New York to support Jay-Z with big, bouncing diva curls.
