Bad Bunny’s Adidas Gazelle to Return in Gold After Long Hiatus

Bad Bunny dipped into the world of signature sneakers with his Adidas BadBo 1.0 making its debut earlier this year, but he isn’t forgetting the other models he’s collaborated on. His Ballerina recently returned after a long hiatus with a brilliant red inspired by Puerto Rican Flamboyan trees, and later this year his take on the Gazelle Indoor will come back while borrowing a color scheme from the ballet silhouette.

The Bad Bunny x Adidas Gazelle Indoor “Solar Gold” launch in October, more than a year after his last release on the model. Its yellow-gold and black arrangement is nearly identical to that of the Ballerina’s launch edition and will be just as prone to “Kill Bill” invocations.

A tonal mix of yellows define the upper in suede, leather and canvas. Black striping matches the embossed “Adidas Benito” logo directly aside, and a translucent cupsole arrives sans color. An extra set of tongues allows the wearer a choice of gold or black, and both carry the blue stitching motif signature to Bonito’s sneakers.

With its warped aesthetic and arrival amid the low-profile craze, the Gazelle Indoor has been one of the best received of Bad Bunny‘s Adidas collaborations. Its last release, last August, actually came in yellow as well but with white and yellow accents and as the Vega Baja of his city series.

This summer is expected to bring the launch of Bad Bunny x Adidas slides, and an unknown boxing style high-top was also revealed in the shoot for his Zara collection.

The Bad Bunny x Adidas Gazelle Indoor “Solar Gold” will release some time in October through the Adidas app and select third-party retailers. Pricing is set at $140.
