Nike is continuing its nods to one of A’ja Wilson’s favorite cartoon characters with a new player exclusive colorway of the A’Two.
During the Las Vegas Aces’ 84-79 win over the Golden State Valkyries on Saturday, Wilson laced up a follow-up style to one of her A’One exclusives inspired by Susie Carmichael from Nickelodeon’s “Rugrats” series. Carrying over matching colors from the A’One and a flower pattern taken from the character’s dress, Wilson’s Susie Carmichael-inspired A’Two is the most colorful look yet for the recently released sneaker.
Wilson’s latest Nike A’Two PE features a full yellow base that extends to its Air Zoom and Cushlon 3.0 foam-cushioned midsole with an all-over purple flower pattern across the upper. Red and green accents on the branding, heel and tongue reference the character’s shoes and hair clips.
In a post-game press conference after debuting her Nike A’One Susie Carmichael PE in October, Wilson told reporters that the exclusive style connected with her inner child.

“Susie Carmichael is that girl,” Wilson said. “It’s just a funky, fun pair to wear and I love them. All my shoes, I love them, honestly. But Susie Carmichael, there’s always an inner child that comes out of us…It was just like that young Black girl that I wanted to see and it gave me a chance to dream and kind of see myself in ‘Rugrats.’”
The Nike A’Two was officially unveiled in March and made its retail debut in May. In a press release, Wilson said she “poured my whole heart into the shoe” and called it “bigger, bolder and even more me” than the A’One.
Like the previous Susie Carmichael Nike A’One PE, it’s unlikely that Wilson’s Saturday sneakers will be released at retail. However, readers can find a selection of Nike A’Two styles available now from nike.com and select Nike Basketball retailers for $145 in adult sizes and $122 for big kids.
