Air Jordan 4 Retro ‘Tour Yellow’ 2026 Release Date IO2463-102

One of Nike, Inc.’s most elusive Air Jordan 4 colorways is finally set to return to stores after debuting two decades ago.

The Air Jordan 4 Retro Rare Air Tour Yellow is being reissued for the first time this year and an early look at the 2026 iteration has just emerged courtesy of retailer JD Sports. The early retail looks reveal a faithful re-creation of the 2006 style with only minor tweaks made to the upcoming release. 

Unique in its color blocking, the sneaker features a white leather upper with a mix of black, gray and bold Tour Yellow accents. The key color, Tour Yellow, is used on the Air Jordan 4’s midsole with a splattered cement effect and also appears on the tongue branding. The latter includes a removable Velcro patch which, like the ’06 original, features “Jordan Rare Air” branding underneath the traditional Jumpman logo.

The original ’06 Tour Yellow Air Jordan 4 Retro was part of the brand’s LS (Lifestyle) series of colorways. The styles featured under the LS range typically featured vibrant colors and were released alongside matching apparel collections. And while it was a standalone release, the Tour Yellow style served as a complementary piece to the equally vibrant Air Jordan 4 Retro Lightning and Thunder looks. Other noteworthy LS releases included the Air Jordan 3 Retro Cool Gray, Air Jordan 5 Retro Grape and the soon-to-be-reissued Air Jordan 5 Retro Black/University Blue.

With a limited-edition release in ’06 and no retail availability since, the Tour Yellow style has gone on to become quite coveted among collectors, although it remains to be seen if this enthusiasm will translate to a sell-through for the upcoming reissue.

The Air Jordan 4 Retro Tour Yellow is set to be released on Sept. 5 from Nike’s Snkrs app and select Jordan Brand retailers for $220. The shoe’s full colorway is White/Tour Yellow/Dark Blue Gray/Black and its style code is IO2463-102.
