The Spider-Man: Brand New Day press tour has officially begun! The blockbuster superhero film releases on July 31, and while we’re still over a month out, lead stars Zendaya and Tom Holland have already begun making their press rounds.
This tour is a special one, given it marks Zendaya and Holland’s first splashy appearance together as husband and wife. Yes, you read that right: The pair secretly tied the knot earlier this year, and have been keeping a decidedly low-profile since. But thanks to the Spider-Man media blitz, we now have our first glimpse at their married couple style. And the sartorial focus? While it may not be matchy-matchy, it’s definitely coordinated.
The duo kicked things off earlier this week, when they walked the film’s photo call in Madrid, Spain. Zendaya wore a fringed Christian Cowan strapless gown, while Holland looked dapper in his sleek Prada suiting. In Amsterdam, they followed that up with yet another complementary fashion moment: Holland wore a tailored Thom Browne suit, while Zendaya slipped into a modern Louis Vuitton design, consisting of a red leather skirt and an embroidered sharp-shoulder top with coattails. Later, Zendaya opted for another arpeggiated look, this time care of Alexander McQueen.
All the way back in 2017, their press tour for Spider-Man: Homecoming was a flirtatious tour de force, and a fashionable one at that. Their burgeoning romance was punctuated by Holland’s penchant for sleek, classic tailoring and pin-sharp trouser moments, while Zendaya was firmly establishing a transformative red-carpet style.
