Some seasons ago now, balletcore jetéd its way back into fashion with the tentative return of the ballet flat. A full dancewear-inspired wardrobe for the girls followed. But a latex-ed and tutu-skirted Rosalía sees your leotards, wrap cardis, and stirrup leggings and raises you: the prima dominatrixina.
The singer, who is in New York for the rescheduled dates of her LUX tour, was spotted out and about in the city. Looking like she had just stepped off stage, Rosalía wore a latex bodysuit that plunged to her navel, cinched with two studded belts that sat low on her hips, and a white tulle tutu. Underneath, a sheer embroidered black bra with a little blue bow. And on her feet, a pair of stacked black platform pumps. (She saves her pointe shoes for the stage.) Her dark brunette hair was worn naturally curly and tousled.

Rosalía has collaborated with Jonathan Anderson at Dior for a suite of custom performance looks. Of the four outfits, there’s an angel wing-style organza feathered cape; an icy blue pannier dress covered in satin ribbons; a militaristic dress with a tricorne style hat; and a leaf medallion adorned tutu. The Spanish musician wears the ornate, layered tutu in the show’s first act.
