A number of fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands made retail moves across Southern California in June, opening flagships, debuting first California stores or relocating into larger concepts across Los Angeles and Montecito. Here’s a look at some of the latest openings:

H.Lorenzo has relocated its longtime Robertson Boulevard boutique into a larger, 9,000-square-foot flagship just down the street, bringing its men’s and women’s assortments together for the first time since the company’s early years. Founded by Lorenzo Hadar in 1984, the L.A. retailer has built a reputation for championing emerging designers before they become household names, while attracting a clientele that spans musicians, athletes and Hollywood talent, from Tupac Shakur to Justin Bieber, Cardi B, Lady Gaga and Rihanna. The new flagship expands beyond fashion with home objects, Japanese craftsmanship, furniture, literature and rotating cultural installations.
“We don’t want to just be a retail store selling clothes. We want to add different elements and bring retail into what we feel it should be going forward,” said Mac Hadar, son of Lorenzo, who now oversees the family business.

It carries ready-to-wear, its Western-inspired Ranch collection, accessories and select home offerings, bringing fashion and lifestyle categories together. Designed in partnership with Studio DB, the boutique features custom details inspired by Montecito and the nearby Andrée Clark Bird Refuge, a nature preserve in Santa Barbara County.
“Opening in Montecito felt like a natural next step for the brand,” said founder Lela Rose. “There’s an effortless elegance to the community that resonates with our approach to dressing and entertaining.”

The opening brings Wittmore’s footprint to five stores, including locations in Studio City and Malibu. The women’s assortment includes brands such as Donni, Sunray, Closed, Toast and Il Bisonte.
“Many long-standing clients have mentioned that we should open a dedicated women’s shop,” said founder Paul C. Witt. “We love Larchmont and have been trying for years to open this concept on the block.” The company plans to open two additional West Coast locations within the next 18 months.
