THE WHAT? Natura has appointed former CEO Alessandro Carlucci to lead the company from October 1, as João Paulo Ferreira steps down after a decade at the helm and the Brazilian beauty group prepares for its next phase of growth.
THE DETAILS Carlucci will leave Natura’s Board to become CEO, having previously led the company from 2005 to 2014 during a 25-year executive career with the group. Fábio Barbosa will reassume the role of Chairman. Ferreira leaves after a decade in which Natura tripled revenue, strengthened its leadership across Latin America and developed an omnichannel business spanning 2.8 million beauty consultants, more than 1,200 stores and over R$1.5 billion in digital sales in 2025. The transition follows a period of corporate simplification and operational restructuring designed to establish a stronger platform for future expansion.
THE WHY? The leadership change signals Natura’s shift from consolidation and restructuring towards a renewed growth cycle, with Carlucci returning to executive leadership to accelerate the company’s existing strategy and expansion across Latin America.
