THE WHAT? LVMH has appointed Alexandre Oulès as Chief Operating Officer of its Beauty division, a newly created role within the organisational structure being implemented under Beauty division President and CEO Véronique Courtois.
THE DETAILS Oulès will oversee manufacturing, supply chain and purchasing across LVMH Beauty, with a mandate to increase operational convergence between the group’s beauty maisons and support profitability and sustainable growth. He joins from Balenciaga and previously spent much of his career at LVMH, holding senior operational roles at Guerlain, Celine and Moët Hennessy, with expertise spanning product development, manufacturing, purchasing, quality, regulatory affairs and global supply chains.
THE WHY? The newly created position signals LVMH’s push to increase integration and operational efficiency across its beauty portfolio, bringing manufacturing, procurement and supply-chain leadership under a more coordinated divisional structure.
