London-Based Designer Conner Ives to Show in Sepember During New York Fashion Week

Conner Ives, the American-born designer who’s based in London, plans to show in New York during New York Fashion Week in September.

Ives will show his spring collection on Sept. 12 after showing in London since his debut show in February 2022.

“I’m thrilled to be bringing the show to NYFW this season. As a native New Yorker, it feels fitting to bring the brand back to where it all started for me. I always joke with people that moving to London was my equivalent of boarding school, and I’m so grateful for my LFW [London Fashion Week] tenure. But the relocation feels that it’s coming at a right time for the brand that has grown so exponentially in the last year. This feels like a new chapter for us and I can’t wait to see where it goes,” said Ives.

“I have been impressed by Conner Ives’ talent and the impact he’s made as an American designer building his brand showing in London for some time. As an independent creative with a distinct point of view, he’s a natural fit for the Official New York Fashion Week Schedule organized by the CFDA. After meeting Conner, I was struck not only by his vision for the brand, but also by his kindness. We’re delighted to welcome him to New York Fashion Week this September,” said Steven Kolb, chief executive officer and president of the CFDA.

Ives moved from New York to London to attend Central Saint Martins. After graduating in 2020, he launched his label in 2021, earning recognition for redefining Americana through reworking vintage and deadstock materials into playful nostalgic fashion. He held his first runway show during London Fashion Week with his fall 2022 collection in February 2022.

During the finale of his fall 2025 show, Ives wore the “Protect the Dolls” slogan T-shirt, which gained global recognition. The T-shirt was a reference to U.S. President Donald Trump’s campaign against transgender Americans, and Ives wanted to show his support for the community.

“It’s been so hard to watch my friends and the models who have [helped and supported me] be chastised by the U.S. regime. We have to do everything in our power to push back against that,” said Ives at the time. Created in solidarity with the transgender community, the design was adopted as a global movement and worn by celebrities such as Troye Sivan and Pedro Pascal, raising over 500,000 pounds for charity.

That Ives collection was an homage to his American heroes of the ‘70s — Oscar de la Renta, Halston, Stephen Burrows, Bill Blass and Anne Klein — who put American fashion on the map after winning the Battle of Versailles fashion show in 1973. He mixed elements of ‘70s style with pieces from different eras.

In May 2025, Ives was awarded the British Fashion Council Award and continues to build a loyal following with celebrities such as Rihanna, Zoe Kravitz, Kate Moss, Charli XCX and Adwoa Aboah.
