THE WHAT? Edgewell Personal Care returned to organic sales growth in its fiscal third quarter, with adjusted EPS and adjusted EBITDA exceeding expectations, supported by an improved performance in North America.
THE DETAILS Edgewell reported Q3 net sales of US$570.1 million, up 1.7% year-on-year, while organic sales increased 1.1%. North America returned to growth with organic sales up 3%, driven by higher volumes across Sun Care, Skin Care and Grooming, alongside increased distribution and momentum from priority brands. International organic sales declined 1.4%. Adjusted EPS remained stable at US$0.72, while adjusted EBITDA reached US$78.9 million, with both measures coming in ahead of the company’s expectations. Edgewell narrowed its full-year outlook while maintaining the midpoints of its adjusted EPS and adjusted EBITDA guidance.
THE WHY? The return to organic growth and stronger North American performance provide an important indication that Edgewell’s investment behind priority personal care brands and expanded distribution is gaining traction. The better-than-expected earnings performance also supports management’s expectation that FY26 growth would be weighted towards the second half of the year.
