THE WHAT? Chanel has named Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams as the face of its next major fragrance campaign, following the launch announcement of Coco Mademoiselle Crush Absolu.
THE DETAILS Abrams will front the campaign for Chanel’s latest fragrance launch, the first addition to the Coco Mademoiselle franchise in six years. Chanel described the artist as embodying the spirit of founder Gabrielle Chanel through her authenticity, freedom and understated elegance. Thomas du Pré de Saint Maur, Head of Creative Resources for Fragrance & Beauty, said Abrams reflects the modernity and independent attitude that define the Chanel brand. Coco Mademoiselle Crush Absolu is scheduled to launch from 19 August.
THE WHY? The appointment aligns Chanel’s newest fragrance with a globally recognised artist whose cultural influence and contemporary appeal are expected to strengthen consumer engagement and reinforce the brand’s heritage of modern femininity.
