THE WHAT? Harry’s Inc has partnered with Ashley Graham, with the model to create and sell a line of body hair removal kits, according to a report by Bloomberg.
THE DETAILS The kits will be sold under the shaving company’s Flamingo label for women, with Harry’s and Graham sharing the profits of the venture.
Graham will be involved in the creative and design processes, as well as featuring in the advertising campaigns for the line.
The kits include body wax and shave sets, and will be sold at Target and the Flamingo website.
THE WHY The collaboration highlights a new era of beauty deals for celebrities, with companies continuing to offer both financial and creative partnerships rather than just endorsement deals.
Allie Melnick, General Manager of Flamingo, said, “What we weren’t interested in doing is those standard celebrity endorsement deals. Ashley’s had a hand in every part.”
