THE WHAT? L’Oréal Canada has appointed Amélie Fortier-Cyr as Chief Digital & Marketing Officer, succeeding Marc Dicko as the cosmetics group continues to accelerate its digital, marketing and AI strategy.
THE DETAILS Fortier-Cyr reports to L’Oréal Canada President and CEO Stéphane Bérubé and works with Han Wen, Chief Digital Marketing Officer for the North America Zone. She has spent nearly 20 years with L’Oréal across Canada, the US, France and the UK, most recently serving as General Manager of L’Oréal Paris UK & Ireland. Previous positions include leading Lancôme Canada and L’Oréal Paris Canada. Dicko has moved to a new Group position as Chief Digital Marketing Officer for the SAPMENA Zone.
THE WHY? The appointment brings an experienced brand and digital leader into L’Oréal Canada’s senior management team as the company increases its focus on media innovation, digital transformation and AI-enabled marketing.
