Zoë Kravitz took the clear shoe trend into sharper Saint Laurent territory on Sunday, arriving for Anna Wintour’s pre-Met Gala dinner in New York in a pair of PVC slingback pumps from Anthony Vaccarello’s fall 2026 collection for the label.

Kravitz wore a glossy see-through style cut with a dramatically elongated toe featuring a faint python print, a transparent upper and a slim slingback strap. Rather than treating PVC as a barely there sandal detail, Vaccarello used the material on one of Saint Laurent’s most recognizable recent shoe shapes: the long, severe pump with an extended toe and a low vamp. The clear finish exposed the foot while keeping the silhouette closer to a classic Saint Laurent slingback than to the plexi mule or barely-there sandal iterations of the trend.
Vaccarello introduced Kravitz’s pump shape on the Saint Laurent fall 2026 runway in March, among several see-through pointed styles with elongated toes, slim slingback straps and partly clear heels. Some versions added cap-toe trim or snakeskin accents, including the pair Kravitz wore. In WWD’s review of the show, Miles Socha described the runway’s “sexy slingbacks with long snouts” as “pure Vaccarello.”

Kravitz wore the pumps with a Saint Laurent cream cable-knit cardigan trimmed in tawny fur at the collar and cuffs. Underneath, she wore a yellow lace dress with an ornate floral pattern, semi-sheer overlay and scalloped hem.
As for accessories, she carried Saint Laurent’s large Cassandre wallet in brown suede wore The Row’s Ella sunglasses. She also wore Jessica McCormack’s Round Wire Wedding Band in yellow gold on her thumb, a small detail with a little more intrigue after recent reports of her engagement to Harry Styles.
Kravitz stepped out one night before the 2026 Met Gala, where any appearance with Styles would place them among the night’s couples to watch. They are part of a wider group already drawing pre-carpet attention, including Kendall Jenner and Jacob Elordi, as well as Glen Powell and Michelle Randolph.
