Between Spider-Man press, The Odyssey press—and even more Spider-Man press—we’ve had no shortage of Zendaya and Tom Holland sightings this summer.
But, while we’re accustomed to method dressing extravaganza from Zendaya (and occasionally even Tom!), rarely do we get to see the couple in a moment of respite, dressed as their true selves. Today, however, they did just that on a day off in London.

Zendaya offered a lesson in transitional dressing for the pair’s coffee run. Over a pastoral off-white below-the-knee dress, she added a charcoal gray crewneck cardigan. In an unexpected styling move, the actor left only the top two buttons fastened, allowing the open sweater to show off the dress’s smocked bodice. An ever-present reminder of the power of accessorizing, Z leveled up her look with a brown-and-blue bandana kerchief (her favored off-duty look of the moment), and a pair of grayish-brown Tabis.
Holland, meanwhile, opted for classic in a white T-shirt, light-wash cuffed blue jeans, and white sneakers. While the look is perfectly anonymous, he added a personal touch: a rust-colored baseball cap bearing the name of his non-alcoholic beer company, Bero.
While we’re guaranteed more method dressing at the end of this year for Dune: Part Three, seeing Zendaya and Tom Holland embrace their off-duty couple style is a welcome sight indeed.
