Wells Fargo is beefing up its beauty offering with its latest hire.

The investment bank has tapped Anthony Giuliano as a managing director and head of beauty and wellness in consumer and retail investment banking.

He joins from Perella Weinberg, where he was a partner. Previously, Giuliano held investment banking positions at Nomura and Barclays.

In his new role, he’ll report to Vik Bhardwaj, head of consumer and retail investment banking at Wells Fargo.

Of the new appointment, Bhardwaj said: “Anthony brings deep experience advising leading beauty and wellness clients on some of their most important transactions and business evolutions, and we look forward to the experience and expertise he’ll bring to our platform and clients.”

Giuliano added: “The beauty and wellness sector is evolving rapidly, and I’m thrilled to join Wells Fargo and bring the full breadth of the firm’s capabilities to our clients as they navigate that growth and evolution.”

Giuliano has advised on more than 100 deals across beauty and wellness over the past two decades, including for companies such as the Estée Lauder Cos., Procter & Gamble, L’Oréal, Shiseido, Henkel, Edgewell, Colgate, Unilever and Coty, among others. Notable transactions include advising Estée Lauder on its $2.8 billion acquisition of Tom Ford; advising KKR on its $4.3 billion acquisition of Wella, and advising Henkel on its acquisition of Not Your Mother’s Haircare.
