Last week, I received the coolest little kit that arrived just in time for my trip this week!
RESCUEHER. It’s a small vegan leather dopp kit style bag for women that comes with a detachable silver chain in case you want to carry it as a shoulder bag or crossbody.
The bag itself comes in black, white or blush pink. Inside are cosmetic, personal care and other grooming items for women. With graduations, Mother’s Day and summer vacations right around the corner, I think this adorable and supremely useful kit of essentials would make a perfect gift for any of those occasions.

What I especially love about this kit is that it’s ready to go. I can just take it with me without needing to pack up. About the only thing I might add on my own is a mini-toothbrush, toothpaste and a little tube of hand cream. Otherwise, it’s got everything I would need at the spur of the moment. No more searching around at the last minute for a comb, a bandaid, a safety pin, or an earring back to replace one that I lost. Or whatever unexpected thing I discover that I need when I’m traveling or just out and about.
Here’s a closer look at the makeup.
The little palette is so cute, quite handy. It contains a usable and good size mirror and an adorable, soft little usable in a pinch brush that’s held in place by some sticky stuff that keeps it from moving around inside the palette. The palette contains face powder (that’s a perfect match for me so you can’t see the swatch on my arm), contour, highlighter, medium reddish-brown matte shadow, grayish-bronze muted shimmer shadow. I was blown away at how long lasting the makeup is. I wore the eye makeup over primer as I always do, and it lasted until I took it off. In fact, it gave my micellar water a run for its money 😉
There’s candy pink lip gloss, a slim black eyeliner pencil that comes with a built-in sharpener, medium-tan BB cream that unfortunately is way too dark for me, and a bronzer that I use as a peachy blush since I don’t wear bronzer.
Also, I should mention RESCUEHER’s attention to detail: there’s an expiration date on a number of the makeup items so you know when it’s time to recycle them!
Plus there’s room in the 6.5 x 3.5″ bag to throw in a few mini-makeups of your own to supplement what comes in the kit. And there’s also room for your driver’s license, a credit card or two, and a standard size phone. With the cute silver chain and heart-shaped zipper pull, I can carry it on its own, or I can toss it into a large purse or tote bag. This week, it’s going into my suitcase.
Inside the bag, in addition to the pretty lining, there’s a zippered pocket and an open pocket to help keep things organized.
