She gave us the glazed donut nails—a manicure that turned the beauty world on its axis—and now, Zola Ganzorigt is back with an equally delectable set. Known by her Instagram handle, @nailsbyzola, Zola is responsible for all the celebrity sets that take pride of place on nail inspo Pinterest boards the world over. From Hailey Bieber to Kylie Jenner, the women of Katseye, and Sabrina Carpenter: Zola paints shimmering sets, statement colors, and teeny-tiny, pretty decal-studded manis. She’s a major reason why chrome nails have been on such a stratospheric trajectory, season after season.
Her latest obsession is the aforementioned “vanilla latte glaze,” and one she’s been giving to clients like Sarah Hyland and Khloe Kardashian. The look involves some of her go-to shades from OPI: first the cool and cloud-like neutral Put It in Airplane Mode is painted across the expanse of the nail, followed by the creamy My Vampire is Buff for the tip, and finished with Zola’s OPI collab chrome effect polish, Tin Man Can Glaze.
The result? A milky French that keeps the strong white line and tip prominent, unlike the also trending “blurred French” or “cloudy French” manicures, and features an iridescent finish, like a silky iced latte in the early morning light. It makes a bit more of a statement, while remaining subtle and versatile.
And as Zola shows, you can customize the set to your liking (and just like your latte!): Hyland, for one, opted for a long almond shaped nail with a deep tip, while Kardashian chose something more opaque. Others have kept the finish more liquidy that sparkly, or even blurred the tip and kept the texture.
