THE WHAT? Nykaa has reported strong quarterly growth, with its beauty business driving higher revenue and profitability, alongside the acquisition of a majority stake in premium skincare brand Aminu Wellness.
THE DETAILS FSN E-Commerce Ventures, which operates Nykaa, reported a more than three-fold increase in quarterly net profit, supported by continued momentum across its beauty e-commerce platform, retail stores and owned brands. Beauty net sales value increased 29% year-on-year, while the segment’s EBITDA margin improved to 10.3% from 9.0% a year earlier. The company also announced the acquisition of a 51% stake in premium skincare brand Aminu Wellness for INR 320 million, further strengthening its presence in the premium beauty segment. Nykaa’s beauty portfolio includes brands such as Huda Beauty, MAC, L’Oréal, Maybelline and The Ordinary, alongside owned brands including Nykaa Cosmetics and Dot & Key.
