Maria Spadoni Battistoni (b. 1998) is an Italian fashion researcher and practitioner. She holds a BA in Fashion Design and Visual Arts from IUAV University of Venice and an MA in Critical Fashion Practices from ArtEZ University of the Arts in Arnhem. She is currently Visual Editor of Global PhotoVogue. Her work examines fashion as a cultural and ideological system, with a focus on copying, repetition, and reuse as critical and pedagogical strategies to question dominant notions of originality and value. She teaches Fashion History & Cultures at Accademia Costume & Moda in Rome, and her practice spans writing, teaching, and curatorial projects within contemporary fashion discourse.
