When it comes to wellness trends, especially those of the dietary supplement variety, I consider myself an eager, if slightly skeptical, participant. So when it was announced that Lemme, Kourtney Kardashian Barker’s gummy empire projected to reach $200 million in sales this year, was coming out with its inaugural gummy ring vitamin for skin health (reminiscent of that classic peach candy), I knew I had to get my hands on it first.

The label’s newest beauty breakthrough is loaded with Ceramosides (the most clinically studied ceramide extract in the world) that can reduce the appearance of common signs of aging, improve skin elasticity, and secure firmness where there once was sagginess as well as deep hydration where there once was dryness.
“One of the biggest changes our skin experiences with age is a natural decline in ceramides, which are essential for maintaining hydration and a healthy skin barrier,” Dr. Kathleen Valenton, board-certified OB/GYN and Lemme’s chief medical officer, shared in a press release.

The product’s ceramide inclusion is also joined by skin care’s workhorse hyaluronic acid, antioxidant-rich vitamins C and E, plus sea buckthorn, which aids with brightening and thereby remedies dark spots.
According to Lemme, users should witness greater smoothness and hydration by day 14, with shifts in the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles happening somewhere around the 60-day mark. Unlike the company’s other gummies and their two-a-day serving size, you only need to ingest one of these rings daily. Translation: There’s no excuse not to do it, whether before rushing off to pilates class or alongside your breakfast. That bright, bold flavor of tropical fruits will make it feel like a reward.
When it actually came time to sample this holy grail for skin, I didn’t begin the process with outsized expectations. The Lemme Skin Firm & Hydrating Gummy Rings, after all, weren’t a chemical peel, neuromodulator injection, or HydraFacial — meaning their results aren’t instantaneous, and Lemme doesn’t say that they are.

The bulk of the gummy rings‘ powers in my case, then, would have to stem from their moisturizing and smoothing benefits, and it’s safe to say these gluten-free, paraben-free, and plant-based supplements delivered just that in spades.
On day 1, the only effect the Lemme Skin Firm & Hydrating Gummy Rings had was leaving me wholly impressed by their concentrated yet never-overwhelming taste, being the better-for-you version of sugar-loaded Trolli counterparts.
