Hudson wore a custom three-piece Thom Browne look in white, with navy piping and the designer’s signature red, white and navy stripes providing the color. Her fitted silk crepe jacket featured structured shoulders, a single-button waist and a rounded hem, with the striped band circling the upper left sleeve. She paired the crisp blazer with a square-neck corset and matching floor-length pencil skirt.
The matching skirt stayed narrow through the hips and fell straight to the ground, with white-and-clear pointed-toe pumps showing beneath the hem. Hudson finished the look with Tiffany & Co.’s Bird on a Rock jewelry, including earrings set with more than 10 total carats of diamonds, a brooch centered on a diamond of more than 12 carats, and a mix of Bird and Lovebirds rings. Her usual long, pointed manicure completed the look.

Hudson has oft been one to embrace her inner diva, sporting looks with volume that command attention. During January’s 2026 MusiCares Person of the Year gala honoring Mariah Carey in Los Angeles, the “Dreamgirls” Oscar winner wore a Kilian Kerner spring 2025 gown.
The look was crafted in deep blue velvet in a long-sleeved column dress silhouette that included a high neckline, fitted bodice and straight skirt. An allover crystal embellishment added a dense, uniform sparkle across the surface, while a high slit on one side opened the skirt to the mid-thigh. The dress also came with a maximalist coat in a tonal mix of blues.

The grand finale performances of the 2026 edition of the World Cup follows the opening ceremonies and performances from the likes of Katy Perry and Tyla, among others, which took place in June.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 Final finds Spain, the reigning champions of Europe, facing off against Argentina, the reigning World Cup champions. The match takes place at New York New Jersey Stadium, temporarily renamed from MetLife Stadium, in East Rutherford, NJ.
The tournament’s first-ever halftime show, curated by Chris Martin of Coldplay and supporting the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, featured Justin Bieber, Madonna, Shakira and BTS. Post Malone headlined the pre-match closing ceremony while Hudson performed the National Anthem.
