Ecco Relaunches Kollektive With Craig Green, Natacha Ramsay-Levi

One year after its last designer collaboration series, Ecco is back with a new collection in collaboration with Natacha Ramsay-Levi, Craig Green and the founder of White Mountaineering Yosuke Aizawa.

For autumn/winter 2026, the three designers relaunch Ecco.Kollektive with the aim of bringing their own perspective to the Danish footwear and leather company’s materials, technologies and archive.

For Ramsay-Levi and Green, it’s a return to the brand after partnering on different levels with Ecco over the years. Indeed, Ramsay-Levi was part of the first intake of Ecco.Kollektive collaborators in 2022 and has since gone on to become the brand’s first creative partner — a role which sees her work closely with Ecco’s in-house design team to produce seasonal.

Now, concurrent to her creative partner role, Ramsay-Levi returns to Ecco.Kollektive with a collection that reworks and reinterprets the project’s original design codes. Signature silhouettes from the brand, including references like the OG Joke shoe, return with exaggerated proportions, reinforced constructions and Ramsay-Levi’s use of unexpected contrasts. Styles in her capsule include updates to the Ecco Biom 720, the Biom Lite and the Receptor XP.

For Green, he first collaborated with Ecco in 2025, presenting footwear as part of his spring/summer 2025 runway show. The debut collection was accompanied by a series of leather showpieces developed in partnership with the Ecco leather atelier.

His new Ecco.Kollektive offering centers around the duo’s “shared appreciation of utility and craftsmanship,” Ecco said. For his new collection, Green made subtle shifts in structure, proportion and finish across classic styles. These include the Ecco Soft Classic, the Receptor XP and the Walker 3.0.

Finally, Aizawa, who stepped down as designer from his label White Mountaineering earlier this year after 20 years, took inspiration from the outdoors. Ecco noted that for his collection, Aizawa authors a line “built for movement, versatility, and modern urban exploration.” He updated the Ecco Receptor XP, the Walker 3.0 and the Track 25.

Niki Tæstensen, global creative director at Ecco, told FN that it’s been “inspiring” to see Green, Ramsay-Levi and Aizawa reinterpret the brand’s signature silhouettes through their own distinct creative vision.

“By reimagining icons such as Joke, Receptor and Walker, each collection honors the original design principles while revealing something entirely new,” Tæstensen said. “Together, they demonstrate the versatility of Ecco’s design language and how enduring craftsmanship can become a platform for bold creative expression.”

This new launch follows the brand’s last Ecco.Kollektive for autumn/winter 2025 which featured designs from Eckhaus Latta. Previous collaborators in the series include Peter Do, Kiko Kostadinov, Nina Christen, Louis-Gabriel Nouchi and Ottolinger.
