Sun and fun, bikes, and baked goods were endlessly documented online, but fashion is serious business in Denmark. In 2025 revenue from the country’s fashion exports was 45.4 billion DKK (about $7.1 billion); and CPHFW is leading when it comes to sustainability and body diversity on the runways.
Spring delivered a continuation of existing trends, like polka-dots and lingerie dressing. The “let them eat cake” mood hasn’t subsided, and why should it? Denmark is famous for its pastries. Historical references, wafting fabrics, and soft textures brought romance to the collections. More bike friendly were key wardrobe items like long shorts and button-downs. There’s been a lot of talk about skinny pants, but the Scandis are sticking with slim to full silhouettes, with the exception of legging-tight Capris. (Proceed with caution.) In Copenhagen, harbor dips aren’t just for the Little Mermaid; the season’s swim-inspired looks will have real legs.
