A New Chloé Girl: Chloé has appointed Valérie Leberichel its new chief marketing officer, WWD has learned.

The seasoned communications executive confirmed her arrival at the French fashion house effective June 1.

She will report to Chloé chief executive officer Laurent Malecaze, who is leading a rejuvenation drive alongside designer Chemena Kamali, who has revived Chloé’s sunny brand personality since arriving as creative director in 2023.

Leberichel most recently served as senior vice president of global communications at Gucci in Milan.

Before that, she was global vice president of communications at Givenchy, working closely with its then creative director Matthew M. Williams.

A French national, Leberichel began her career as public relations manager at Jean Louis Scherrer and later became communications director at Issey Miyake Europe.

In 2002, she joined Celine as communication manager for more than 10 years before moving to the Prada Group in 2013 as worldwide communications and external relations director for Miu Miu.

By 2019, she oversaw global communications for Miu Miu and headed communications for Prada France.

Chloé is part of Swiss luxury giant Richemont, owner of brands ranging from Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels to Dunhill. The group’s sales in the fourth quarter ending on March 31 were up 13 percent, compared with 11 percent in the previous quarter, as reported.

In its trading statement, Richemont highlighted “robust increases in the ready-to-wear category” at its fashion and accessories maisons, “in particular at Peter Millar, Alaïa and Chloé.”

In her fall 2026 collection for the house, Kamali riffed on such house archetypes as capes and ponchos, bib-fronted dresses and peach-toned blouses.
