Established in 2022, the CFDA/NYFW Fund has enabled over 60 international retailers, editors and media stakeholders to attend NYFW across eight seasons, providing financial and in-kind support that helps amplify the American collections on a global stage.
In addition, the CFDA NYFW Shuttle presented by Google Shopping, now in its fifth season, will continue to provide logistical support and show-to-show transit while reducing the week’s carbon footprint with group ridesharing.
“New York Fashion Week this season returns with creative force and zeal for the spring-summer 2027 collections. As our country celebrates its 250th anniversary, this season represents what makes New York Fashion Week special: its spirit of independence. Our designers carve out their own artistic identity marked by grit, individuality, and resourcefulness,” said Joseph Maglieri, CFDA’s senior director of Fashion Week Initiatives. “Across emerging designers and heritage brands, the attention on NYFW and American fashion is grounded in embracing who we are without trying, or wanting, to emulate any other city.”
Following the announcement in September 2025, the CFDA’s fur-free policy goes into effect for all brands showing on the Official NYFW Schedule.
