The 2026 WNBA season began on Friday. The 30th season kicked off with a three-game slate that included the first game between the Seattle Storm vs. Golden State Valkyries, as well as the debut of the Toronto Tempo against the Washington Mystics. The season will consist of a 44-game schedule for the teams that are set to run through Sept. 24.
This weekend featured performances on the court by Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, Breanna Stewart and Azzi Fudd, who was the first overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft in April. Take a look at the sneakers they wore on the court during the first weekend of the 2026 season.

Skechers recently announced a multiyear partnership with the WNBA as an official league partner for the league’s 30th season, marking a major expansion of its performance basketball division. The brand features WNBA stars Iriafen, Rickea Jackson, and Jackie Young on its roster, who wear its performance shoes worn on-court.
