The latest HR moves made by leading textile and apparel companies.

    Brands

    Bottega Veneta

    Romain Spitzer

Kering has appointed Romain Spitzer as CEO of Bottega Veneta and part of the group’s executive committee, effective Sept. 1. Based in Milan, he will report to Kering CEO Luca de Meo.

Spitzer was most recently CEO of Fragrance Group LVMH Beauty, and his more than 30-year career has included roles at brands including Guerlain, Jean Paul Gaultier Parfums, Yves Saint Laurent Parfums and Parfums Christian Dior. Kering highlighted his experience in leading global luxury brands. Among his objectives as he takes the helm of Bottega Veneta will be the brand’s retail experience and client relationship building.

“Bottega Veneta is one of the strongest and most distinctive houses in luxury, with exceptional craftsmanship, a unique creative identity and remarkable growth potential,” said de Meo. “Romain has the leadership, vision and international experience to unlock the next phase of the house’s development.”

    La Perla

Lingerie brand La Perla’s next CEO will be Alessio Vannetti.

Vannetti, who will join the company on Sept. 1, comes to La Perla with previous experience at Gucci, Valentino, Prada and Zegna in roles across branding and communications.

La Perla—which had been insolvent—is staging a return under new owners Luxury Holdings LLC, with husband-and-wife duo Peter and Kristen Kern as the primary shareholders. Since acquiring the label, they have rehired its seamstresses to support continued Made in Italy production.

Vannetti succeeds Paolo Vannucchi, who led the company through its acquisition by Luxury Holdings LLC. Vannucchi will remain a strategic advisor until the end of the current fiscal year.

    Puma

    Marcia Dos Santos

Puma has appointed Marcia Dos Santos to the newly created role of vice president BU Core, part of its strategy to create dedicated teams for its Core and Sportstyle business units.

Santos, whose tenure at Puma started July 15, was most recently vice president merchandising women’s EMEA at Nike, and she has spent more than 20 years in the sports industry. At Puma, she reports to chief brand officer Maria Valdes.

“Throughout her career, Marcia has delivered strong commercial results across regions and product categories for women, men and kids, demonstrating outstanding go-to-market and merchandising skills,” said Valdes. “With her broad industry experience, strong commercial track record and ability to build successful teams, she is the right leader to take our Core business, Puma’s commercial engine, to the next level.”

    PVH

    Alexis Rollier

PVH Corp. has named Alexis Rollier chief financial officer, effective in early September. He will succeed Melissa Stone, executive vice president, global financial planning and analysis, who has been acting as interim chief financial officer since the start of the year.

Since 2018, Rollier has been global chief operating officer and global chief financial officer at Sephora, where he helped grow the LVMH-owned retailer’s global business and improve profitability. His more than 30-year career has also included roles at Guerlain, LVMH and home improvement firm Kingfisher. Rollier will report to PVH’s CEO Stefan Larsson and be part of the company’s executive leadership team.

“Alexis is a unique global finance leader, who brings highly relevant expertise across multi-brand and omnichannel retail, deep financial and operational experience and a strong track record of driving disciplined growth with profit expansion,” said Larsson. “As we continue our journey to build Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger into their full potential, Alexis’ experience connecting consumer-facing strategies with effective financial steering will help drive long-term shareholder value.”

    Sustainability

    Bluesign

    Hanane Taidi

Chemical and responsible production standard Bluesign has named Hanane Taidi as CEO.

Taidi was most recently director general of TIC Council, an association for companies in testing, inspection and certification. Her more than 20-year career has included positions in sustainability, public affairs and communications.

Taidi comes to Bluesign as the industry is adjusting to regulatory rollouts and escalating transparency demands. Bluesign has transitioned beyond its work as a standard and is supporting companies as they manage compliance and data. She has also been a European Commission expert since 2014, which Bluesign expects will help its users navigate regulation like the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), the latter of which includes the mandate for Digital Product Passports.

“Bluesign has built a powerful foundation rooted in science and trust,” said Taidi. “The opportunity ahead is to scale that impact, giving the industry the tools, data and systems needed to turn responsibility into measurable progress.”

    Technology

    Global Tech Advocates

Global Tech Advocates’ RetailTech Group is undergoing a leadership transition, as GTA’s founder Russ Shaw CBE passes the reins to new co-leads Sreeraman MG, the founder of Fynd, and Oliver Kaye, whose experience includes senior and CEO roles at companies like Selfridges, Tesco, Gap India and Calvin Klein India. Shaw announced the switchover at Source Fashion in London.

    Sreeraman MG

MG and Kaye will head up the 1,000-member community, which focuses on connecting the creators of technology—such as AI, automation, data, loyalty, supply chain, fulfillment and sustainability solutions—with the retailers who will deploy it. Together, they have roughly two decades of experience across retail technology and retail operations in key markets including the UK, India, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

    Oliver Kaye

“When we launched the RetailTech working group within Tech London Advocates nearly a decade ago, it started as a small, passionate team,” said Shaw. “Today, it has matured into a thriving community of advocates dedicated to understanding and driving technology’s profound impact across the retail sector.”

He added, “[SMG and Olivier’s] exceptional international retail and infrastructure experience will help expand the group, spotlighting key retail innovations from every corner of the world.”

    O9 Solutions

Software firm o9 Solutions has promoted Krishnakumar Kulankara to chief operating officer.
Kulankara has been at o9 for more than a decade, during which he worked across multiple business units including product and go-to-market teams. In his new role, his focus will be on scaling o9’s APEX solution.

“APEX is not just a technology innovation,” said Kulankara. “It is a fundamental rethinking of how enterprises operate, decide and deliver value. As COO, my focus is on driving the cross-functional alignment and operational transformation that will accelerate APEX adoption at scale.”

    Logistics

    AIT Worldwide Logistics

    Justin Kosslyn

Freight forwarder AIT Worldwide Logistics has appointed former Google executive Justin Kosslyn as its chief digital and technology officer.

AIT created this new role to support its digital transformation. Kosslyn will oversee the freight company’s technology strategy, including advancing its transportation management system and supporting AI adoption. He reports to Keith Tholan, president and chief operating officer.

Kosslyn’s tenure at Google included work in its Jigsaw incubator as well as managing news products such as Google Trends and Search Console.

“[Justin’s] experience building digital products and leading technical teams will complement the deep logistics, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data and AI expertise already within AIT as we create more connected, scalable and customer-focused tech solutions,” said Tholan.

    Echo Global Logistics

    Ritu Vig

Ritu Vig has joined Echo Global Logistics as chief legal officer. She was previously chief legal officer and corporate secretary at parking facility management firm SP Plus Corporation. Vig’s career has also included positions at RR Donnelly and Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company.
