London Fashion Week Unveils the Spring/Summer 2027 Schedule

London Fashion Week is so back.

Running September 17 to 21, London Fashion Week (LFW) Spring/Summer 2027 is set to return with a provisional schedule promising global attention and a strong stable of designers, as well as a suite of experiential events, shows, presentations, and activations.

“This season marks an exciting moment for London Fashion Week, with the return of leading British brands alongside an exceptional new generation of creative talent,” said BFC CEO Laura Weir in a statement on Friday. “The schedule reflects the confidence and momentum of British fashion today, bringing together established houses, emerging designers, and industry partners on a platform that continues to shape global fashion. Together, they reaffirm London’s position as the global home of creativity and a catalyst for innovation, opportunity, and growth.”

In that vein, McQueen will return to home turf under the vision of Seán McGirr — a decision allegedly spurred on by new CEO Gianfranco D’Attis, who’s been in post since June — while London darling Chirstopher Kane will debut his collection for Mulberry, where he was appointed creative director in March, following the drawn-out closure of his eponymous label in 2023. Another proponent of this best-of-British strategy, cross-category retailer Marks & Spencer will celebrate 100 years in fashion with a co-ed, “see-now, buy-now” runway show.

Continuing this celebration of homegrown brands, the schedule features a Barbour presentation on day one, closing the week with Burberry.

Small and midweight stalwarts of LFW will also show on the runway: Erdem, Simone Rocha, Ashley Williams, Harris Reed, Emilia Wickstead, Knwls, Ahluwalia, Roksanda, Richard Quinn, and Natasha Zinko, among them.

Chopova Lowena will also put on its annual catwalk following last season’s crazy golf-inspired presentation. Critically acclaimed favorites Paolo Carzana and Aaron Esh, the latter of whom also serves as AllSaints’s creative director, will appear as runway highlights.

First-timers abound, too. Sweden’s Petra Fagerström will make her LFW runway debut, while Francesca Lake and Gui Rosa will put on their first LFW presentations. All three are recipients of the BFC’s NewGen sponsorship, provided in partnership with Spanish-founded retailer Pull&Bear. Other 2026 to 2027 funding recipients returning to the schedule include A Letter, Charlie Constantinou, Ewusie, Johanna Parv, Liza Keane, Octi, Oscar Ouyang, Pauline Dujancoourt, Steve O Smith, The Ouze, and Yaku.

Geordie Campbell — a preppy brand picking up traction in the queer British creative sector — will also join the mix, alongside Indian minimalist label Lovebirds, and ethereal womenswear designer Joyce Bao, herself a success story of Paul Smith’s Foundation.

The schedule marks the third fashion week since the BFC’s reset under Weir, a journalist-turned-exec whose résumé namechecks British Vogue, Selfridges, and the Evening Standard. Under her leadership, the BFC has shifted its mission toward a more connected, decentralized incubator model, rather than a London-centric organization. For LFW — as outlined in the 2030 strategy — that means putting the designers first, while also bringing intentional attention to the event and mentoring the designers so they can scale within their means.

“I’m intent on refining the mentoring part so that it includes business resilience,” Weir told Vogue Business in March. “You might want a moderate business with a small team that facilitates a low-key lifestyle, or you might want to scale to a multi-million-pound company. Both are great, what’s important is that we’re upskilling and sharing with designers lessons in how to appropriately spend the funding they get from us.”

The fashion talent incubation scheme headed up by founder and director Lulu Kennedy, Fashion East, will remain on the schedule following continued investment from the BFC. (Last year, the BFC allotted £1.3million in grants and scholarships across its prizes and talent programs.) Birmingham City University will also present a showcase of the school’s work in the capital.

As part of the week’s additional focus on London’s retail ecosystem, the schedule features a jewelry collection presented at concept store Dover Street Market; a pre-loved runway show organized with Ebay that can be shopped live; and London designer spotlights dotted throughout the Selfridges flagship. Plus, H&M — following its runway debut last year — will return with a reimagined take on the fashion show format alongside image-maker Nick Knight
