THE WHAT? Coty has announced a series of executive leadership and organisational changes designed to simplify its operating model and accelerate execution of its Coty.Curated strategy.
THE DETAILS Executive Chairman and interim CEO Markus Strobel will assume direct responsibility for Prestige commercial operations, with regional leaders reporting to him. The company is also integrating Prestige R&D, sustainability and supply chain into a single function under Chief Supply Chain Officer Graeme Carter. As part of the restructuring, Chief Commercial Officer Prestige Caroline Andreotti, Chief Scientific and Sustainability Officer Dr Shimei Fan and Chief People and Purpose Officer Priya Srinivasan will all leave the business. Séverine Charbon will join Coty as Chief People and Purpose Officer, bringing experience from Publicis Groupe.
THE WHY? The leadership changes are intended to simplify decision-making, strengthen accountability, speed up execution and better align innovation, commercial operations and supply chain as Coty focuses on driving growth across its prestige and consumer beauty businesses.
