Palmer modeled a sharp pointed-toe pump with a low-cut vamp and fierce stiletto heel offering the “I Love Boosters” actress several extra inches of height. She went with a classic patent leather pump which grounded her ensemble with an elevated glossy finish. This footwear choice was a simple and sleek silhouette fitting in with Palmer’s taste in shoes which ranges from minimalist styles like Femme L.A. mule heels to star-adorned Rene Caovilla heeled sandals.

Palmer’s footwear at the BET Awards accompanied a one-shoulder jersey gown from Gucci embellished with rows crystal embellishment all over; the silhouette includes a low back, fitted bodice and column skirt with a high slit. The piece recalls the 1990s, hailing from the Generation Gucci collection inspired by the brand’s archival codes. Her accessories included silver Gucci earrings and a cuff bracelet from the Italian brand, while she modeled a copper-colored boho braids hairstyle.

Hosted by comedian and internet personality Druski, the 2026 BET Awards were held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday night and honored the breakout Black creatives of the last year. The annual awards show celebrates writers, musicians, filmmakers and more, honoring and uplifting Black culture. Singer Lauryn Hill was honored with The Living Legend Icon Award, while “One Battle After Another” Oscar nominee Teyana Taylor was the recipient of the Icon of the Year Award.
