Jack Victor may be a proud Canadian manufacturer, but that isn’t stopping the company from celebrating America’s 250th anniversary.
The company is partnering with Nordstrom on a limited-edition tailoring capsule that pays homage to American history.
The suit and blazer capsule is launching June 15 exclusively at 16 select Nordstrom stores, as well as Nordstrom.com, and JackVictor.com. The collection features Italian fabrics with custom-designed trims such as star-patterned body linings and red, white and blue interior sleeve and pocket details. Each style is limited to just 250 numbered pieces that also sport a woven interior label reproducing the Declaration of Independence.

There are three super 150s wool suits and three wool/silk/linen blazers in light blue, gray and sage along with a cream dinner jacket, featuring a subtle star-patterned tonal jacquard weave.
Suits will retail for $1,428 and blazers and the dinner jacket will be $1,198.
“This collection was deeply personal,” said Alan Victor, chief executive officer of Jack Victor. “While Jack Victor’s roots and headquarters are in Montreal, my son Steven and I are both proud U.S. citizens. We loved the idea of our brand saluting such an important American milestone in this meaningful way.”

The brand has been known for its tailored clothing collection for the past 113 years, but has expanded into more dressy casual looks in the past few years. “Today we offer a full lifestyle collection, but tailoring is our legacy,” Victor explained, “so we felt that it was especially meaningful to honor this defining moment in American history through our heritage products.”
Jian DeLeon, men’s fashion director for Nordstrom, added: “Jack Victor is a brand that has long had a unique appreciation for American heritage — one that comes through in their approach to timeless style and dedication to making quality clothing for men across the world. Given Nordstrom’s rich history as a family founded brand, celebrating this anniversary with a partner who embodies that same story felt like a perfect fit.”
A second capsule of seven additional pieces is planned for fall.
