If you’re chronically online (guilty!), perhaps you’re already familiar with it: the image of Hannah Montana blowing a kiss and waving goodbye through the window, as her voice croons “woah-oah-oah, yeah-eah-eahhh” in the background? Cue that one.
Last night in L.A., Miley Cyrus bid adieu to her recently revived Hannah Montana era (reminder: in March, she brought back the famous TV character in honor of its 20th anniversary). No more long, blonde wigs or extremely Y2K fashions here: The singer arrived at Dior’s resort 2027 collection, held at LACMA, in a fresh, modern look that felt more in tune with her own personal style.

Cyrus rolled up to Jonathan Anderson’s Dior show in a light-wash double-denim Canadian Tuxedo, wearing a long-sleeved jean shirt with a matching pair of straight-leg patchwork jeans. Her sleek accessories made it feel more fashion-show ready, and less rodeo-ready: The star finished off her look with pointed heels, oversized shield shades, and one of Dior’s more streamlined shoulder bags. While we personally loved the return of Hannah Montana’s bedazzled tees and 2000s maximalism overall, Cyrus’s Dior look last night feels undeniably more, well, au courant.
The singer was not the only buzzy celebrity in attendance at Dior last night, either. Also in the front row? Stars like Sabrina Carpenter, Anya Taylor-Joy, Chase Sui Wonders, Mikey Madison, Jisoo, Role Model, and more. Given the show was cinematic—and served as an homage to Hollywood glamour—it only made sense that the front row would be filled with A-listers. And Cyrus served as one of the star-studded evening’s very best spottings. Excuse us while we go get inspired to pile on denim this spring, too.
