The “Down the Drain” author and “Uncut Gems” breakout star turned to the American designer’s spring 2008 collection for her look. “This dress has lived so many lives,” Fox told Footwear News’ Jaden Thompson at Tuesday night’s event.
Fox’s dress was a reproduction of the original 2008 design, per the actress and author. The yellow tulle strapless gown was crafted with a sweetheart neckline and a cinched waist thanks to a glossy band of pink fabric.

Small blue bows were added to the bodice of the dress and at the waist, cascading in bunches. Fox also wore a floral hair accessory with a tiara-inspired loop piece.
Other accessories for Fox’s look included the kitsch million stars phone handbag with a detachable receiver that the actress used for playful photo ops. Fox capped off her attire with the Betsey Johnson Shirley floral beaded bow kitten heels.

Johnson’s spring 2008 collection featured a bevy of the designer’s signature playful prints and motifs, from ruffles and pops of color to polka dots and vibrant tones. Johnson’s idiosyncratic approach to style has always catered to fashion as a fun form of expression.
The designer’s journey began in 1965 with a role at the label Paraphernalia, one of Britain’s then-hippest boutiques. By 1978, Johnson debuted her own eponymous brand, which has endured for decades and debuted its mother-daughter spring 2026 campaign in April. The designer regularly curates new collections and fresh apparel and is widely known for her signature splits at the end of her runway shows.
