THE WHAT? Inolex has launched SustOleo™ Embrace, a multifunctional silicone-free sensory enhancer designed to improve skin feel and appearance while extending fragrance retention for up to 20 hours.
THE DETAILS Developed using Inolex’s proprietary amino ester platform, SustOleo™ Embrace is a coconut-derived ingredient designed for skincare, body care, fragrance and deodorant formulations. In an in-vivo study, a serum containing 7.5 percent SustOleo™ Embrace improved dry skin scaliness by 33 percent and smoothness by 30 percent after one application, while fragrance testing demonstrated extended scent release on skin for up to 20 hours. The ingredient has a Natural Origin Index of 0.85 under ISO 16128 and is palm-free, vegan, cruelty-free, Halal-certified and Kosher-compliant, with biodegradability predicted through EpiSuite modelling.
