THE WHAT? OLIVE TREE PEOPLE has opened its first US flagship on Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice, California, creating a dedicated retail destination for its waterless beauty portfolio.
THE DETAILS Designed by New York architect Jeremy Barbour of Tacklebox Architecture, the flagship brings together the company’s OLIVEDA, LA DOPE, OLIVE ROSE, OLIVE MUSH and IS THAT MATTY? brands alongside consultations, product discovery and skincare rituals. The space reflects founder Thomas Lommel’s “From Tree to Beauty” concept through rammed-earth installations made with soil from Spain and Los Angeles, sculptural olive trees and Olive re:connect, an immersive installation that translates live biofeedback from an olive tree in Spain into sound at the Venice store.
THE WHY? The opening gives OLIVE TREE PEOPLE its first permanent US retail showcase, providing a physical platform to present its portfolio and waterless beauty positioning under one roof.
