THE WHAT? Amorepacific has launched skincare brand Mamonde in India through an exclusive partnership with beauty retailer Nykaa, expanding the South Korean group’s presence in the country.
THE DETAILS Mamonde joins Amorepacific brands including Laneige, Innisfree, Etude and Sulwhasoo in the Indian market. Founded in 1991, Mamonde positions itself around floral-based skincare science and uses its proprietary Hyper Flora technology. Amorepacific said the brand is intended to address demand from younger, ingredient-conscious consumers, while the launch extends the company’s decade-long partnership with Nykaa.
THE WHY? The launch signals Amorepacific’s continued investment in India as a growth market for K-beauty. Adding Mamonde allows the group to broaden its portfolio across consumer segments while leveraging Nykaa’s established beauty platform and the growing awareness of Korean skincare brands in the market
