THE WHAT? South Korean beauty group APR delivered its highest-ever quarterly performance in Q2 2026, driven by rapid international expansion and record growth in its cosmetics business.
THE DETAILS APR reported Q2 revenue of KRW 767.5 billion, up 134.2% year-on-year, while operating profit increased 134.5% to KRW 190.6 billion, representing a 24.8% operating margin. Cosmetics was the primary growth engine, with divisional revenue surging 185.5% to a record KRW 648.3 billion, supported by demand for core ranges and new product launches. Overseas revenue increased 178% to more than KRW 700 billion, representing 92% of group sales. North American revenue climbed 264.6% to KRW 376.3 billion as APR expanded through Target and Walmart, with a Costco launch planned for H2. European revenue increased 380.3% to KRW 145.1 billion, prompting APR to report Europe as a standalone region for the first time. H1 group revenue reached KRW 1.36 trillion, almost matching APR’s full-year 2025 sales in six months.
THE WHY? APR’s results demonstrate the accelerating international scale of Korean beauty businesses, with North America and Europe becoming increasingly important growth markets. The combination of strong cosmetics demand, e-commerce growth and expansion into major mass retailers is helping APR build a more diversified global distribution footprint.
