Tate McRae attended the Variety Power of Hollywood 2026 event in Los Angeles on Wednesday, modeling an archival black Versace dress with electric blue lining that she coordinated with a pair of modern sandals from the Italian brand.

McRae, one of the honorees of the event, showcased Versace‘s Valentina satin sandals in light blue, a $995 silhouette also offered in black, beige and pink. The strappy style is set upon a dramatically tapered stiletto heel measuring eight centimeters. At the intersection of the slender straps is a 3D Medusa hardware embellishment, a signature of the house. The heels served as a pop of color contrasting the musician’s black strapless dress, while also picking up the subtle blue inner lining of the garment.

The dress was pulled from the spring 1998 Versace collection by Donatella Versace. The garment was strapless with a fitted bodice, column skirt, a back cutout and a high slit revealing the vibrant satiny sky blue accent. McRae accented the look with minimalist jewelry, including a gold pendant necklace and matching earrings, while her hair was pulled back in a ponytail.
